We then immediately machine extract any slight moisture remaining from the recently cleaned areas. This process is repeated section by section until the entire piece (including all pillows and cushions) have been cleaned. This latest and ‘Drier’ technology gives our skilled technician the ability to clean light mildew, compacted dust and light stains from virtually all types of fabrics both natural and synthetic. Furnishings will be dry and ready for use within just a few hours after cleaning (and Protecting)…and not days like the old school wet systems!
Please be aware that most furniture stores will try to sell you their upholstery fabric protection such as ‘Teflon’ or ‘Scotch-guard’ protectors which are all ‘water’ based. Additionally, their pricing is usually $200 – $600 to do this! Our recommendation is to NOT pay this kind of money for a simple water based protection solution…extremely overpriced! We use only the best ‘solvent’ based upholstery protection, “Ultra Seal”, which we personally have found to be more effective in protecting your upholstery fabrics than any other product in the industry! Ultra Seal will repel a spill and act as an invisible shield enabling you to simply wipe off what was spilled, without ever penetrating or staining the fabric! Where Ultra Seal Fiber Protection is solvent based (vs. water based), the protection will also last much longer on your upholstery and carpets.
Please also be aware that the same rules apply for your Upholstery cleaning and protecting as your carpet cleaning and protecting to uphold to the manufactures recommendations and warranties. Most upholstery needs to have fiber protection applied when new, as well as after each professional cleaning.
